Photo Shop organizer or Hard drive?
:D From my lessons in Photo Shop Organizer it says that photos are only indexed in photo shop but their home is on my computer's hard drive. I uploaded some pics today and my default PS came up and I thought I put them in the Animal Foloder on my hard drive but don't see them. They are in my PS Organizer though singally. So I don't understand how the photos are only appearing in my PS Organizer if that's just where they reside. I'm all confused now on if my pictures are getting saved to hard disk or not when uploading to PS. I may not be explaining myself that much. I'll try to play with it some more and see what else I can found out.

So the photoshop organizer is an online website, or on your hard drive? Or both:confused:?
I haven't used it, so not much help on that part... General photo stuff - I'm not an expert though..:p. I have my computer set to add all new pictures to My Pictures in the Documents area of Win XP. I make folders there with appropriate names - family, art, scenery, misc, etc Most of the photo programs I have used will use those same files by "seeing" them. If you make editing changes you would use "save as" or "save" to save any changes made. to keep the original photo as well as the changed photo use "save as" and change the name that the new edited one will be saved under {I add a letter or number on the end- so i know it's the edited one} If uploading to a website - that usually just places a copy of your photo onto the site. Your original will still be on your computer. Photoshop Elements Organizer Tips and Tutorials http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/pse..._Tutorials.htm |

hey bfd,
for myself, I create a folder of my own on my desktop. I usually call it, "to be modified" and then inside it I create subfolders to catalogue them. Works well for me. If you don't like it on your desktop. Try to create a folder in your documents. Just give it a name. Photochop usually follow the generic path and just saves it in your documents, you can just create a new one during save. :) |
thank yo so much.
