NaNa1, Here's the fountain. It's in the other room & I can hear the trickle, but I think I'll put it in the living room so I can see it more often. I put "Enviroscape rock garden" in my search. You can do so to get more info. (& see a couple reviews).

lor, at my boss's b-day luncheon we had this discussion. He received something similar to what your pic shows.

Because my b-day is next month, I warned everyone NOT to get me one of those! When I hear water trickle, I think of two things: there is a leak and I need to tighten the faucet OR someone is using the bathroom! Lol!!!

A few years ago DH talked me into camping with him alongside a small river. I can't tell you how many times and ways I dreamed I had to save my family from the floods! I was so happy when the sun finally came up, only to discover it was a full moon illuminating the tent!!!

Wow, want my address (lol) ? I put mine near me & can see if it's really the faucet running, but I never thought of it anyway. And I would know if it's sorta far away in the bathroom. But it could be some guy 'using' the wall & I don't have to worry about the dogs, they are both female (might use rug) :)

I used to love those fountains until we started having plumbing problems. Our washing machine sometimes drains into our kitchen plumbing, and sometimes fills/overflows my kitchen sink. There have been SO MANY times when I'd hear a trickle sound and be reminded of those peaceful fountains - ahhhhhhh. :cool: Then all of a sudden I'd hear a WHOOSH, run into my kitchen and see a waterfall and lake where I shouldn't be seeing one. :eek:

Now whenever I hear those peaceful fountains, I have an overwhelming urge to grab a bucket and mob. :p

It's a beautiful fountain. :) Keep an eye on it though - don't let it get near your kitchen sink. :D

I have an outdoor pond with a waterfall type of feature.
It's funny though when the power went out it seemed sooo odd without the running water sound..

nice Lor, we dug a pond out last year, birds squirrels butterflies all enjoy it very much, and the sound of the water is soothing, enjoy

thats nice jo yes it is weird when power goes no water sound here either

My SIL has a pond in her front yard. It's in terrible shape. I'd like to go have her help me fix it up & put a pump in it. It's a large yard & large house but she has to sell it cuz her DH just died & also the kids will be gone soon. Thus the yard should look lovely to sell.

I just love that pool of your's Jo, and would really like an outdoor one of my own some day. For now we have an indoor one along the lines of your's Lor, although our's does look different.

I find it so relaxing to watch the water and to hear the constant trickle. Lucky I don't have bladder troubles like you do Twink! :wink:

funny thing is when the fish tank gets down and you can hear the water funning - drives me crazy!!! so I am thinking that wouldn't be good!
