Taffy, you will do fine. Take deep breaths but don't hyperventilate. DD18 gets faint and/or faints every time so I understand where you are coming from. Focus on something in the room, something appealing to you, and let your mind drift. Also keep in mind that this is only a few minutes of your entire life. You will do just fine.

Did you drink plenty of water over the past few days? That makes it so much easier for the phlebotomists.

they kind of have a lab chair that you sit in.
and they put a little kind of shelf in front of your to support your arm while they do the dastardly deed.

also that way is you faint it will hold you up :D :D
