Hi,

My husband was on Lexapro for about 4 years and he swore by it. He use to say the whole country should be on it. LOL I saw such a difference in him and I could tell when he went off of it even for a few days.

Hope you have good success with it too. By the way, he didn't have any side effects from it.

Hi Stan, I haven't tried Lexapro, but am on two different anti-depressants.
Both are double dosed- Paxil Cr 25 mg. and Wellbutrin XL 300 mg. They help a lot with depression, but not completely gone. RSD affects the Limbic part of brain that controls moods like depression. Also, it is known that anti-depressants help with nerve pain. Hope this helps. Loretta:)

I have a lot of trouble with all the reuptake inhibitors but have the least trouble with lexapro. Unlike the rest it also does a little good for me.

I avoid it because of side effects but keep it on hand.
