Ok, I finally get a call from my GI specialist's office.
Doctor wants to see me in person to discuss my biopsy results.
???????
The RN said it had to do with surgery that needs to be done right away?

(had biopsies from endoscope/colonscopy.

Keep your fingers crossed.

normally in colonoscopy they find what they find, and do what they do right then and there. makes ya go hmmm...dont it?

That's quite true in most cases, but only a certain sized (quite small) polyp can be removed via the colonoscope.
If it's too big to fit through the opening on the colonoscope, the only way to remove it is through surgery.

MM, It can be a lot of things, from very benign polyps to whatever. Try not to worry in advance (Like anyone can do that). Good for you getting acolonoscopy, I'm way past due.
