I had an email from her this afternoon..she can't get into NT and she was involved in a car accident...she's ok but her car isn't.and it's going to be expensive to fix! Let's send her positive thoughts and thanks that she is ok. (((Abbie)))

I was finally able to jump in here... :)

I don't believe my log in prob is due to NT's probs... I think it's stupid Verizon--as I am also having cell phone probs with them..:mad:

Anyway.....

Thank you Alffe for posting for me... I wasn't sure how long it would be until I could get in...

Accident----I'm ok... a little tense with a minor headache but no body aches or pains. My car on the other hand....a little bit accordianed. It's going to be expensive to fix but I just got off the phone with my insurance company and found out that I have FULL coverage with a $250 deductible. So my out of pocket expense is minimal. The other car had very minimal damage--no injuries.

I got really lucky at the accident scene too.. I believe the Good Lord had a bubble of protection around me as about 100 yards north of where I was pulled safely off to the side of the road. (As safely as I could have been as I was just clear of the crest of a blind hill) Just as a State Trooper was arriving a box truck and a semi hit head on. They were both ok... one driver had a minor nose bleed.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. I am praying that no hidden injury shows up over night....:smileypray:

Thank you for checking in. I'm so pleased to hear that you weren't harmed, but we'll all be worrying now until we know that there are no nasty little surprises in store for you, when and if any bruises eventuate.

I'm sorry that your car has suffered badly, but at least that's better than having our dear Abbie crumpled.
