Video: Billions To Be Cut From Hospice Care Medicare is set to cut $2.3 billion nationally in hospice payments on Oct. 1. The money is meant for many hospice providers to care for the elderly and terminally ill. Providers in Tennessee are speaking out, saying the cuts will make it a lot harder to give people the care they need at the most critical time in their lives.
