I'm in north Louisiana, so the storm should have diminished by the time it gets here, but it is CRAZY here now. The interstates and gas stations are packed with people evacuating. Please pray for these people that they'll have homes to go back to. They are evacuating not only New Orleans but the entire coast of Louisiana.

Thanks, I'm about 6 hours from the coast, so they are expecting maybe just heavy rains here and possibly tornados from it - which I know can be bad enough. It's a beautiful day here now though.

I think LaPepper is from South Louisiana though, if I remember correctly, so she may have already had to evacuate or may be really having to make hurricane preparations. Stay safe LaPepper!!

Loads of people are evacuating though, hopefully this one is not as bad as they think it will be.

Thank you Sal and praying that all are safe from this storm!

Thanks for the map Sal. I just pray that the storm settles down
before it hits land. Those poor people still have not recuperated from
Hurricane Katrina.

Using the map I checked where I will be moving and I am really
getting closer to you.

Check the map and see where lexington Ky. is. How far would that
be from you?

It is actually Winchester that I am moving to but Lexington is in its
back yard.
Winchester was not on the map. Very close, maybe we will get to
meet each other in person. Want to hear about all the history.
