Deterioration of speaking ability

I am a 71 yr old male who was diagnosed with PD 5 yrs ago. I don't have tremor but all other indicators confirm PD. I take polenty of meds, primarily Carbidopa/Levo 200 mgs 4X daily and Artane 4X day. I was experiencing a lot of heavy drooling which was reduced dramatically when I began taking the Artane. However, prior to the Rxd Artane, I was experiencing involuntary movements of the tongue and lips and still am after two months of Artane. Tongue still favors left upper palate and gum making it very diffcult to speak clearly. Has anyone experienced similar disorder and if so what was the treatment offered? Thank you and wish all the best.

I wish I could help you, Lou. It sounds so frustrating to not be able to speak the way you want. It's hard enough to communicate well already. But I'm afraid that all I can offer are my person support and wishes, hopes, and prayers that you get to the bottom of this, and manage to make it stop. Good luck to you! :)
