Maybe relocating to Central America

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can assist me with a dilemma I have.

My husband has a business proposition in Central America.

Our concern for anyone living abroad is how accesable is to get your medication there.

And how can you get it? Meaning do they send it to you from the US or do the local hospitals supply them to you?

Any info is much appreciated

Adrian :)

I'm getting ready to move to Italy! I leave next Tues. From what I understand, I can still receive my meds. I'm sure you'll find a way too. What an experience. I know spanish a lot better than Italian right now!

They FedEx everything all over the place nowadays. I would imagine that that is what they would do as far as other countries are concerned. Check with the company here first, as suggested. You did not mention the name of the country but I imagine you are going to the capital or to a big city. So that should be OK.

Oh, just because I remembered and just for 'funzies' ... this young lady was about to get married. Not too many days to go before her wedding day and she discovered...she needed the certificate of baptism from the country where she was born...You guessed it! Panic! Call mom... Whew, problem solved: her aunt FedEx it overnight. :winky: All is well that ends well! :yahoo:

onethird journey

Thanks for the response! I just haven't got the time to call yet but will. I have had several issues where as well mom and auntie have saved me with fedex etc.

I will let you know what they say....
