Hi Gang! Found this site while searching around for the tandem bike stuff. I am 74 years old ( and so is my wife of 54 yrs). We have lived in the same small town for over fifty years and suddenly find all the neighbors are getting old ( or worse). In fact, three of them have been diagnosed with PD in the last year. As I have grown to love all of them ( in varying degrees) over the years I thought that it might be worth a try to help them cope. When I saw the NBC piece on "Tandem Bikes and PD" I thought I might follow up on it and perhaps it could become a "Neighborhood Health Activity". I have lots more research to do but I will keep you posted on how it is going.

Hi Warren and welcome to NeuroTalk! Wow, same town for fifty years....congratulations on that! I love small towns and the more "Andy Griffith-like" it is the better :) .

So glad you joined the group!

Hi, Warren! :Wave-Hello: Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Is your middle name, by any chance, "Peace"? ;)

Thanks for explaining the connection to the tandem bikes, we've had a few newbies asking about them and for the life of me, I could not figure out where this was coming from!

If you do find them, please let us know, curiosity is killing this cat! ;)
