Hi Southie,
It's great to hear from you again. Thanks for posting the new page I find it very interesting. How have things been going for you? I sure hope that the storms haven't hit your area that bad. I know that it didn't hit my family in Zepherhills. You take care and thanks again for posting the website. Here's wishing you only the best and May God Bless You! Sue |

I have been battling with "E", and just had one today, in the worse possible place --- Courthouse! I'm so embarrassed, was there to testify (witness) ... but it's all been rescheduled. And earlier had one on 8/8/8 - and Doc's orders were for me to head to ER. *sigh* About as asinine as it can get! Seizures have been on the rise for me. While my son's girlfriend did phone the Neuro's office and put in the report, it sure did have my mom on guard and my son just absolutely *sick* of these seizures. But as for Fay? Oh trust me, we're sick of Fay, Fay, Fay, Fay! Had enough of her! 'Gus' brought some more of the wet stuff we didn't need, and getting the winds of the other as she rolled along the other side of the State (nice breeze). However, right now, I have 3 massive bumps on my face, my glasses needs to be fixed which I will, and I'm not 100% back in sync yet after what happened early this AM; for I've slept in the car (I can't drive, my mother drove us all) and slept at home, so I'm in the post-"icky" stage (postictal), and gradually coming out of it and with a headache. Not too much of a happy camper here. ===================== But other than that - MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD - I hope the "NO MORE SEIZURES" will benefit every- one and I THANK CHEMAR for duplicating it and moving it to the resource info center. :) Thanks - You're a sweetie! |
((((Southie))))
I'm so sorry to hear that you had a rotten sz. I hope you are feeling better and the headache is better. Last week I also had a myoclonic sz. while I was on line and I fell on the floor and spilled hot coffee all over the rug and myself. My head hurt for 3 days and my stomach was upset for 24 hrs. My Epileptologist told me that sometime a low pressure in the weather can trigger sz. for some people and I have a feeling that may be what has happened to you and me. I've had sz. at work in front of my students and out in public stores and other public places over the yrs. I feel the biggest problem is that others don't understand epilepsy like we do. This country need to wake up and understand Epilepsy is not such a big deal like some people make it to be. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You! Sue |
Southie,
We sure have been missing you around here. Sorry for all the seizures you have been having. Usually, most of mind come in the summer, which I am getting really happy it is nearly over. Tanks for the website. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Darlene:hug: |
