Hello...some advice please

I came across your community and wondered if anybody here could possibly give some advice or point me in the right direction.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy about 6months ago. Prior to this and since his diagnosis myself and some other mutual friends have noticed what we can only describe as very odd mood swings. He can appear rather high for a few days and then crashes and appears to be very low. When low he appears tearful and irritable and has said that he feels ion an angry or agressive mood. :(

Could this behaviour be related to his TLE and does anybody have any advice that they could pass on?

Yes, emotional, visual, auditory - behavioral changes/outbursts can occur sometimes preceding a seizure. It really needs to be noted and reported to the neurologist as sometimes others may mistake it for a mental illness or psychogenic and treat it accordingly. The neuro has to oversee all meds for this.
