Talking about last night's shot...bizarre, maybe OT?
Alright, I sat down, gave myself my thigh shot. Was sitting there watching some TV. Next thing I know, I'm scratching my leg like crazy. Then had this lightbulb moment and thought, Ooops...I just gave myself a shot, what am I doing?!
I take a look, sigh a sigh of relief, because I'm not scratching where I gave myself the injection. But I am amazed to see this huge little bug bite. I think OK, I'll just put some Benadryl on it to stop the itching. I go to bed. Wake up, take a look....no sign of said bug bite, whatsoever??? Soooo...I'm asking myself, was it the Benedryl or was it the meds?? Hmmm... Any ideas? |
I know it seems weird, but I often have an itch on the exact opposite side of my injection. An example: Shot is given into left thigh, later on in the day the right thigh itches in the exact same spot as where my injection was on the left. It's kinda weird and annoying, but I've gotten used to it. Neuro says the signals are getting really confused at figuring out which side it's on.
But incidentally (and back on subject :icon_redface:), are you on copax? Sometimes the med moves away from the injection spot and lumps. I've had that happen too. |

Hmm, sounds like it could have spread then? Never had that happen before... Thanks for the reply |
