I'm looking for some ideas

I'm looking for some ideas on low protein breakfast ideas. Mostly breakfast but I'm interested in others as well. Send lots. I figure its high time that I maximize my meds. I've really noticed a difference on the days when I eat very little at all but thats not too prudent. I just don't know how I'm gonna make it through football season. Thanks. I trying to get down to my origiinal weight of 7 lbs 8 oz.!

:Wave-Hello: hi jim

a great nutritious start to a day is a bowl of oatmeal with fresh or canned fruit. or add dried fruit. skip the milk or only add a tiny bit.

whole grain toast or a whole grain bagel.

so you like smoothie's? just add peeled or canned fruit to a blender with juice for more liquid. slowly add ice ice cubes until it thickens. it's cold and refreshing.

be careful adding too much fruit to your diet too fast. gas..bloating...spending more time in the bathroom, than watching the game...

do you like to snack during the game? ok..REALLY dumb question. LOL. what about popcorn? low fat microwave. when right out of the microwave, sprinkle with parmesean cheese and a dash of italian seasioning. or if you want sweet...cinnamon and sugar. a mixed teaspoon is enough for a whole bag. shake it up. :D

Maybe it's protein and maybe it ain't

The protein-ldopa problem seems to be an urban legend for most of us, so be sure it applies to you rather than relying on conventional wisdom. Dr. Lieberman says that about 20% of us need to factor it in. Ironically, protein is what we make dopamine from ultimately.

If simply eating does it, be aware of "post-prandial hypotension" which is scientese for "eat big and all your blood rushes to your stomach" and that can really make symptoms worse.

Also think about your blood sugar. Do you do better with frequent small meals?
