For Scrabble and Hi to Alffe
 

I am not sure how to start this. If I fumble please forgive me. I use to post in an SOS forum some years back. I had many friends two of which are Alffe and Scrabble. Only recently have I felt well enough to try and reconnect. A very kind lady directed me here. I cried when I saw Alffe's froggy and Scrabble's name. I don't want to make this long. When I read that Scrabble is having problems I realized I had to post because she was always there for me. I would like to be there for her. She is in my prayers! Someone please tell her that an old friend from Texas cares and I really have never stopped caring. I was just too ill to communicate it.
Alffe, I never thanked you for the book. I still have it. I read it several times. THANK YOU! I am so sorry about Mangoshade. I don't know if I can ever forgive myself that I was not there for him the way he was for me.
I can only hope that my friends here will forgive my long absence. And for those of you who may recognize me, I hope I never offended or hurt anyone. During the last months of posting on the old site I was really very ill. Only now can I really appreciate how much so. Take care :circlelove:
I am not using my old username because I do not want to step back into that persona. Life is new and its good despite the current challenges.
Alffe, my granddaughter is 7 now. I remember how you use to tell me how much I would enjoy being a grandmother. How right you are!

Scrabble has recently moved households so she's not here much - a busy time of year, to be sure, with kids back in school and work, etc. She'll pop in soon, hopefully.

I believe Alffe is away but I'm not sure. I miss her, too.

Just the same it is very nice to see you here. Mr. & Mrs. Alffe went to Chicago this weekend, probably home by now. She is something special, no doubt about that. She's been taking a 'break' from here.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I was sooooo nervous and happy too, so many emotions!!!! I recognize some of the old usernames. I was so ill towards the end that my memory isn't so great, not that it is now:wink: ,I am sorry I am still learning how to use the format here and the older names come to my mind faster than your new ones. I remember Mom and vdw. You had not been in the SOS forum for a long time before I started getting really sick, IF my memory serves me right. Addy...if I didn't know you I can't wait to get to know you now, as well as...oh geezz I will be glad when I learn how to use this so I can look at the messages while I type then maybe I won't seem so addled or scramble brained. Anyhow I can't wait to get to know those I don't know yet.
Doody, thank you for telling me about Alffe. I am very happy to know that she is well. I can be patient till she returns and yes, she is very special. And so are many other people here. :grouphug:

Heh. Yes, I was either in the depression forum or just getting into trouble. Alffe dragged me over to the SOS forum.

Whatever took you down, I'm so happy for you that you are back up and running. We all need to take breaks sometimes, for whatever reason. And it helps when remaining forum members understand that need to go away for awhile.
