I'm here....shoulder still frozen :(

ozzy14 09-15-2008 05:33 PM

Hey all you up there,

Im here! Just received my "Total and permanent disability insurance". I think it may be similar to your SSD (?) payments? Not sure though. I got a lump sum for insuring myself against getting sick/disabled while I was employed. So its all happy financially! I can finally finish my house and pay some bills!

Health wise: Still getting headaches each and everyday, arm pain, face pain numbness etc (you guys know the drill!)

Hope you are all well today.

Ozzy

I'm here too !
Hi Shelley, Jo and Ozzy and everyone else !
I am doing o.k.... my shoulder is at 80% now! ( took 8.5 months to get it to here ). Hang in there Shelley... It will come in time !

My foot problem is still hurting ( just found out about Planters fascitis, Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome and a Cocaneal spur ( ? ) all in a matter of a month !!

But I am hopeful that with Orthotics it will get better ! Other than that , it is getting cold here in N.E. , the leaves are changing and I am making jewelry to pass the time !

I hope everyone is doing good and has a great rest of the week !!

Hugs to everyone,

Botox

My husband just figured out why I'm feeling so bad.
Botox last August into my right scalenes, pectoral minor, subscapularis & facial.
I had him look up the adverse reactions last night.
And wa-la!
Breathing, no energy, achiness, tighten throat muscles & breathing problems.
Sounds like chemo.
No wonder I kept saying I havent felt this bad since chemo.
Anyone have any links to Botox & TOS or Botox & adverse reactions send the urls my way?

Currently my hands are cold.
Got P&S report finally from doctor this month. It was well written and I have no arguments. Went to QME for a rating 2 weeks ago. That doctor is sending me to get my first MRI this friday to check out my cervical spine. *(I haven't been officially diagnosed w/ TOS yet)*
The Feldenkrais class I'm taking is tough on me b/c I try too hard I think.
Went to the San Francisco RSI support group this month and learned a lot!
Overall, want to be helping myself more.

congrats to you too ozzy! ;) way to go!

I had a 10+ barfing flare-up last week. ran off to Fla. for 2 days of relief (salt water seems to help a lot with pain) and pain returned as soon as I crossed back over the FL/GA border. Having an 8 flare now... methinks it's the fall weather systems approaching.

so this means I get 2 good months and 10 bad ones.
:Wheel:

wishing all my TOS buddies ease and pain-free days.

We were hit by Ike- I'm on the generator for a few minutes. We have no power, there's very little gasoline, water, or ice. Galveston and the communities on Bolivar peninsula are pretty much destroyed. I can't begin to tell you how bad this is- however bad it looks on the news, it's worse. Please pray for these people who have lost everything and have nothing to go home to.

Hi Red , long time no see.. or read anyway.
Good to hear from you.

I can't imagine the total devastation and amount of clean up that will have to be done...
(((HUGS)))
