Update, and . . . Thanks to those of you who have sent private messages.

My current cognitive state leaves me unable to figure out how to reply.

Had a flare. Was in the hosptial for a week and a half. Have been home since Thursday. We're getting the ball rolling for me to switch from Betaron to Copaxone. Hope it will reduce the fx and severity of my MS flares.

Found out last week that I was approved for SSDI; payments will begin the end of November. I also expect to receive $100 per month from KPERS, for school district and other state employees.

Current symptoms seem to include mild cognitive/memory stuff, balance/walking issues, and lots of fatigue.

Hi Faith,

I'm so sorry you had another flare. I hope things will get better for you when you make the switch to Copaxone. I hope they get you changed over soon. :hug:I'm really glad your SSDI came through, thank goodness for that.

Welcome back Faith! Sorry to hear you've been in the hospital. Crossing my fingers for you that Copaxone does the trick!

Congrats on SSDI as well (I know very little about this, but I'm guessing it's a good thing?).

Thanks, Judy. Sort of a mixed blessing, I guess. Would rather be well enough to work.
