A differnt love
 

I met some of you in another time and a distant place
from the start your kindness lite a smile upon my face
how could i fit in I was so unsure and scared to death
you all treated me so kind and warm and we had just met
what you all mean to me I could never say in a mere poem
though I shall try and not wavier, though my thoughts may roam
how do I even start to thank everyone for their wonderful kindness
do you all know how much you have kept me from being mindless
the constant fears and endless doubts and not knowing what was right
some of these friends even helped me through long scary nights
I can not thank just one or two for it was all of you
keeping me sane, with answers, hugs and from feeling blue
thanking those who make me laugh so hard and with such joy
i could not name all the names so i thank every girl and boy
your warmth and caring have helped so many in dire need
never wanting for themselves not filled with greed
the first few years of MS, too much to handle so much to learn
while dealing with MS, yet our old lives back we so often yearn
its the love and respect and caring that mean to me so much
So I shall say thank you to all, through you my heart has been touched
