droplets of love raining down on my heart
washing away the ashes of past hurt
this is love of a different kind
a kind I thought I'd never find
but maybe we should take this slower
coz I want this love to last forever
and if it's going to last, where's the hurry
why smother this sprouting seed with anxious flurry
they say the best comes to those who wait
so let's just calmly float this beautiful fate
