....apologies if this is the wrong place to put this, don't know where else to post it....



a friend...her little boy...just turned 4 years old...he just got diagnosed with cancer. started chemo yesterday...has to have it once a week for anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months...then has to have a kidney removed...then chemo again.

he's only 4 years old fgs. :( :mad:

((((((corky)))))) ty for being here...this a first for me in that it a child...though brings back some bad memories of my Moms cancer..and my own baby when he was in neo-natal I.C.U. ...wires and tubes everywhere ugh...so here's a deal ok? ...i be there for DJ and his Mom...stronger than strong...if WE be there for each other as always ok? :hug::hug::hug:

I am ever so sorry to hear that :hug:. My Cousion was diagnosed with Cancer last year when she was just 3 years old, she had to have chemotherapy, then a liver transplant and then more chemotherapy. She is now in remission and you wouldn't know that there was something up with her not so long ago!!

Alison...sorry to hear of your cousin..but glad now ok...i hope the same for DJ...and prognosis is good...i just hate to see him in pain meantime. :hug::hug::hug:

update on little Dee
 

...he home for now. he go back to hosp for chemo once a week. stay in maybe one/ two days coz it make him ill. then go home and have cancer nurse visit every day and get home schooling for at least a year. :(


but he ok and keeping his chin up for now, i proud of him :)

Hi Roz. Sorry to hear about your little friend.

I hope the treatments do what they are supposed to. What an ordeal for such a little person to have to endure. :(

((((Twinkle)))) the prognosis for this cancer...wilms cancer...is very good. he gets chemo followed by removal of bad kidney followed by more chemo....we be told he be ok, just gotta be strong...and he is...he what we call here a balsy little b...LOL...he my nephew and he strong fo sho...thanx for your care though and i be sure he knows you care:hug::hug::hug:
