iPD verses atypical Parkinson
Hello, I'm not a M.D., I'm going by an ancestor's name and title.
However, I am a researcher that has been diagnosed with early onset PD. I think I'm atypical PD and am looking at Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS), Cereberal Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (CTOS - later changed to Cereberal Thoracic Neuro-Vascular Syndrome - CTNVS ); to explain my posture activated right arm tremor, that greatly intensified shortly after my Ulnar Nerve translocation surgery two years ago. Having recently got up to speed somewhat on TOS symptoms (that I've seemingly had for years) I've been granted an examination by Published TOS Specialist, Dr. Richard Sanders of Denver CO. What are the defined differences between iPD and atypical or symptomatic PD? Could Chronic TOS or related stenosis/compression be a gateway to some types of PD? (could it starve off - mess up your Thyroid out put?) I hope this post stimulates some discussion. |
You might post this in our TOS forum also, for more discussion from that angle.
It is amazing how so many conditions may overlap or commingle symptoms wise or cause wise. |
