Extreme dizziness and anxiety/depression

I suffered from a concussion about 4 months ago. I was told i had pcs because my symptoms didnt' go away. i was in the hospital about a month an a half ago for a stomach issue and didnt' have any problems with it around the time. Now...a month and a half later, starting last week, my dizziness and anxiety came back full force and is quite scary. I'm dizzy and anxious of every second of every day for a week now. Can the pcs come back like that? any body have any advice? :(

Hi, I get dizzy when I am over tired - I have to be careful.

Did you get very tired and become dizzy?

Also I am now unable to do things that involve putting my head down i.e. gardening and if I get up out of a chair too quickly.

Have you had your blood pressure checked - that can be a problem after a concussion. I am now on medication for that as it has gone crazy.

Maybe you should see a psychiatrist and discuss your anxiety etc and see if you can get some medication and take control of it asap - I believe I am still battling my pcs as I did not get the proper help early on - it is now 7 years later for me.

hi kat

hi kat

how did you get concussed I could not remember the night I got hurt for 4 months then when I started to recall bits I got anxiety I was unaware of many of my symptoms due to the TBI do you have ringing in your ears I had and think I still have a CSF leak changes in intercrainal pressure effects the inner ear I think it takes time for this to manifest my balance an tinnitus seem to be getting worse but remember every one is different, blood pressure can also cause it

your not alone with this nice to meet you

Did you happen to start any new medications when your dizziness came back? Or are you on any?

Some of the medications I've been on really #*@$%! me up for the first couple days or week or more, one even sent me to the ER. Current med I'm trying makes me dizzy a lot due to the side effects on blood pressure, so yeah it's a good idea to get your blood pressure checked.
