Hi Lavender,

Happy New Year!!!!

I just found this reply from you.

So far I've watched the slideshow of your son. You are SUCH an artist!!!! I love (though it is sad and has foreboding to it) the first image with the sundial type image imposed on your son's image ... him looking at his watch. I got the feeling that while he was looking at his watch he hardly knew what time was really doing in the whole of his world.

Very powerful image for me.

And it changed how I saw the original image you posted here.

I had seen the happy baby responding to his loving mom...

but now I see the crib bars, the mother holding on to them... I see a foreboding of the Parkinson's that was about to separate mother and child in a profound way... from which there's no growing out... as a child would normally grow out of a crib.

The thing is, that despite all of that Ryan is a beautiful being. He is so good looking, and his smile is radiant, like it was when he was a baby reflecting the look given him by his mother.

You have such a beautiful life, Lavender. You have made so much beauty!!!!

Thank you for letting me see some of it. :)
