Got lots done today

After being extra sleepy and un-motivated lately, I got up this morning and throughout the day did all my laundry (in an hour and a half at "the mat"), cleaned up my room (mostly), and went to judo. Now I got a shower, had some cereal, and am having a kaluah in milk. I think I'm going to be going to bed soon. I am watching Star Trek which isn't one of my favorite shows, but I like its pace and lack of really loud sounds. I had been not going to judo because of being so tired, but since I've gained some weight and because I fear I've skipped too many as I am being paid (in a roud-about way) for helping out, I made myself go. I also work tomorrow.

How is everyone else today?

Dear Nathan,
Today started off not good. My phone was cut off for lack of payment. I was very confused. Apparently, I sort of lost track of the bill when we moved 5 weeks ago. The bill I paid 30 days ago was for the old apt.
But the phone company should have cut me more slack.

Anyway, I paid them via my cell phone and bank numbers. Then they had the phone back up in a couple of hours.

It took me a long time to work this out and deal with 2 banks and with 2 drs (stuff I have to deal with).
So today was a lot of phone stuff. I was crying by the end. Then I went back to sleep and was late for work.
But I think that nap helped me.

The past two nights have been a sleep - wake up - sleep - wake up.

Yesterday morning I woke up with a headache and my neck hurt to turn.

By the end of the day, the pain was pretty bad. I took 2 trazadone but still woke up a few times. Plus a pain pill.

My neck hurts to turn to the right and my shoulder blades.

Today I have an afternoon appointment with my DV counsler. I'm just so tired, and being in pain makes it worse.

UGH>>>> Nikko

Mari, bills and things being cut off are the worst! (After being sick of course.) Sorry you were late for work.

Nathan1097 11-07-2006 04:10 PM

Nikko, how did the appointment go? Feel any better?

Nathan1097 11-07-2006 04:12 PM

Work today was really fun. All I did for four hours was sale-price items, but the people were fun. Oh- I take that back. I took things off the truck - in the rain- and helped unpack them and put them away, too. But for some reason it was really fun. I'm going to call after six when the manager is in to see if I can get some more hours. The stuff I was doing today has tons more to do and should've been finished before we opened today.

Nathan, I'm glad you had a good day.

Mari, I feel for you for having that bad phone day. I've had many unrelated bad phone days a lot in the past dealing with my mom's nursing home.

Nikko, hopefully you will sleep better tonight.

My day was boring. I had to spend a lot of money on my car today and went out and splurged on a nice lunch to make me feel better. I do that sometimes which is stupid of me. When I need to watch my money, I'll go out and spend money I shouldn't just to make me feel better about having to watch my money. Doesn't make sense, does it? Anyway, it worked because I feel better and am almost ready to accept watching my money the rest of the month.

So glad that you enjoyed yourself at work!!!
Usually it is the people who you work with that make a job fun..not neccesarily the job per say.
So I am glad that you had a good time!

Dear Mari,
I feel for you....
Can't deal with that at all.
I have had to set up all my bills to be paid automatically from our checking account because I am so afraid that I won't pay a bill.
One time capital one said I never paid a bill and had a $30 late fee. I was furious...I never got the bill! How could I have paid it if I never got it?
Everything is set up on the computer now.
And I deduct all of the bills in my check registry ahead of time so that way on paper we are never close to bouncing a check.
I am sorry that you had all of that added extra stress.

Hi Bizi,
That's what happened. The computers weren't talking to each other. I never got the bill. I was supposed to put the new phone number into the automatic bill thingy............

Hubby pointed out that I could have read the snail mail. I never read the mail. I don't care what it is. Do you think that those stinkers sent me a cut off notice? I wonder how many DAYS they gave me before they cut me off.

It was wierd to deal with cut off phones again. Acutally, it was horrifying.
But I only freaked a little as a rememembered those bad days. Then I took care of the problem by paying the bill.

I still have to figure out the comptuer deal.
