If it sounds like science-fiction, well, those woodpecker-like pulses trigger small electrical charges that spark brain cells to fire. This is very interesting but for some reason I can imagine all kinds of problems with it in the hands of someone who really doesn't know much about what they are doing. There are a lot of those out there. And are mistakes reversible. With medication you can stop taking a pill. What if the wrong area is magnetized for a long period of time. Just sounds, I don't know, creepy.
