Why is my hair getting Dead?
 

My hair is thinning and the way it falls just looks terrible. I feel like I lose more hair than my cats. I know I am not going bald because I had this happen to me a few years ago when I was a teen. I had my thyroid checked and I have heard nothing back from the Nurse practitioner. I told them I want the results right away if it is anything. So it must be nothing. But still my hair is like so lifeless. Is this from depression?

Main causes:
Drugs--- birth control pills, many other drugs

poor nutrition-- low zinc, low sulfur, low protein

hereditary

low thyroid

These are the most common. But there are many more.

You are young.
It is probably your medication. Are you on any meds? I can't remember.

(I worry about my hair too but I think my thin hair is mostly hereditary because my hair looks like my mom's.)
