Scooting the page over

Hi, Can someone tell me how to move the page on the screen of my computer
over to the right a bit so I can see the entire page? This is a new Nobolis computer ( if anyone has one, let me know how you're doing with it?)
Anyway, this is how it is with all pages, not just one. How can I scoot it over to the right? Thank you,
Doodle bug7

Is it a laptop or desk top?
What Operating system {OS} does it use- Windows XP , VIsta , or Linux etc?

if desk top there should be some buttons on the monitor that you can use to center and align the screen - there might be a auto align button that you can push to fix it.

If that doesn't work or isn't available -go to the control panel and display settings section.

I guess I'll wait to get you answer about the OS before going on more...:)

Scoot that page over to the right.

Hi Jo55, This is windows vista and it is a desktop. Should I try the monitor?
Thanks, D.bug7

yes try the monitor buttons first if everything is off center.

is the vista screen off center also?
or only web sites/ pages??

page moving,etc.

Jo55, it is the pages that are partly out of sight. While I gotcha , what would cause my navigation pointer arrow to disappear when coming to some text? It just started doing this so I figure that I have triggered something but don't know what. I had to go back even on this page to correct a spelling and didn't
know where my pointer was as it had disappeared and reappeared again when I moved it. Very annoying. Thank you

clean your mouse.

something may be catching the rollerball. if it's an optical one, use a q-tip and wipe the "eye".

i had a wondering arrow. this took care of it.

have you run all your cleaner programs to make sure you don't have a bug?

the mouse settings might have gotten changed.. there is a setting for the cursor to go invisible when or while you are typing.
usually you can press ctrl key to have it show the cursor

I don't like that setting - i like to see where it is all the time :(

If you want to check your mouse settings go to control panel, mouse and then on the property tab you'll see those setting options.

While in the control panel you can check you Display settings -
go to the settings tab and see what the screen resolution is - maybe that got changes somehow and the screen is too big??

you can test different settings but remember the original number/size so you can go back to it if you try many settings.

You can test it and it will show the new resolution then ask if you want to keep it or not, so if you say no it will go back to original.
If you do it that way you won't get confused as to which is the starting one.

cursors and screen resolutions

Forgive me for not getting back sooner to your suggestions.I did do some changing of the screen resolutions and actually got the screen to be better than it was by far.
As for the mouse pointer, I went in and found that the section for making the mouse invisible and it was not even check marked . I dug deeper and got to the cursors themselves. I picked out a different cursor and was set.
Thank you for guiding me in the right direction.:winky:
