Just checking to see if anyone has been treated at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA? I have bilat. unruptured MCA annie's. 1st surgery No. 13th.. The wait is awful. thanks for your time... Mary |

The wait for surgery is hard. Remember it well. Are you having the aneurysms clipped? If you are I wanted to say that I thought the surgery would be much worse than it was. I woke up from surgery in little pain. I slept a lot and my mind was pretty foggy. I under-estimated recovery time. Brains are slow healers. Coiling is suppose to be less traumatic than clipping with faster healing. Hang in there......Sarah |

Surgery Anxiety
I've had two aneurysms clipped. I agree w/ Sarah that the actual surgery's a breeze. Does take time to recuperate though and you'll likely have some interesting experiences along the way!
