Why do I feel better late at night?
I seem to feel better from about 11 PM to 5 AM. I don't know why. It's 4:16 AM,and I'm up. I haven't taken my seroquel yet.
I guess that I'm a night person. I don't know why,and I don't know why so late. Do I have a internal clock that is off? I worked allot of 11 AM to 7:30 PM shifts for years. I'd be up till 3,or 4 AM. BF:hug: |
Working those hours for a long time, your body is just used to it, and probably hard to break.
If you take your seroquel around 11pm or earlier, do you think then you will get back in a pattern of sleeping at night? I know you say you feel better at night, can I ask what meds you take during the day, or do you sleep during the day, since being up all night? It seems a lot of us have sleeping problems, I don't know if it goes along with being BP or what. Take care..............Hugs, Nikko:hug: |
I have always been, and will always be, a night person. I worked graves when I was younger and it worked out so well for me. I wish that were still possible.

I take Trazadone and Klonapin for the depression, but I take those at night, I used to take seroquel for awhile back, and that knocked me right out.:Zzzz:
I hope whatever you decide to do about sleep works, if you decide to change your pattern of sleeping, whatever works and makes you feel good. Nikko:hug: :Zzzz::Zzzz::Zzzz::Zzzz: |

WOW, Im not alone, HA
I have the same kind of deal. I mean I get up at 7am, I can stay busy pretty much during the day, if Ive slept the night before. I have panic disorder and I don't take anything for anxiety anymore. My dr said once I get 8 hours of sleep, no more, no less, then the panic attacks would stop. And she was right. So if I don't take my meds at 9pm, then the next day is messy, Im a BI, mood swinging, rapid cycling, just totally off and nothing evens that out. So right now, even though I feel more alive and energetic at night, I had to train myself to take those meds at 9pm, no matter what. But I can definately relate. I mean that is why I could go to university get a double major, work on campus full time, and then go to a night job, full time. If I slept for even three hours I was good to go. Probably manic, but I didn't know that back then. And yes I continued this path until I graduated. But I don't understand it either, I think I might even ask my doc why this happens. Thanks for bringing up the subject...
