how much can one week possibly suck?

Let's see....Friday I got the results of my MRI back the numbness in my leg is caused by the 4 lesions growing on my spinal cords....congratulations, you have MS.

Saturday while playing with my new dog she spins around and slams her face into my eye and gives me a black eye. Sunday I woke up in so much pain all of my joints hurt, so I stayed in bed.

Monday was a very bad day at work involving not 1 but 2 ex employees showing up. I was so stressed about that I ended up taking a wrong turn going home and went 30 miles out of my way before I even realized it. The dog knock my lemonade over...on my laptop and fries my keyboard! Then I twist my good ankle because apparently I forgot how to walk.

Yesterday was another hellacious day at work involving HR complaints being filed and statements being given about Monday. And complaints being made about other employees. Then my best friend has to go in for an MRI b/c she is now being tested for MS too.

Then today I spend 30 minutes on the phone with HR getting reamed, before I go on a sales call and end up at the wrong place. Then my fiance calls me to tell me the landlord sold our house and we have 3 weeks to move...after we paid the rent yesterday leaving us with no money for a deposit.

Tomorrow is my birthday and although I took the day off of work, I have to take my daughter to the ENT to see if she needs a 4th set of tubes in her ears. And then i get to go consult the lawyer about the house and the lease which is not up until Feb.

I mean seriously I know that stress makes the symptoms worse and all. But my God, how much can one person take? I am losing my flippin mind here. I don't think they make a drug strong enough to take the edge off.

and I must add this is what I get for self pity as I hit the post button and wiped the tears out of my eyes, my contact folded in half and ran up underneath my eyelid which just goes to show it can ALWAYS be worse!

aw geez, Legz, that's awful!

sounds like one of the worst weeks in history.

first, can you stop payment on the rent check?

sounds like the landlord took your money under false pretenses, I mean, it's not like he didn't KNOW the house was being sold, and escrow was closing immediately!

and aren't there LAWS in your area regarding the length of time a landlord is required to give notice for termination of a lease? and aren't there penalties involved?

I sure hope the lawyer is able to help you out, because whether it's legal or not, it's certainly immoral, what he did.

happy birthday, and I hope tomorrow goes better, and your daughter's ENT appointment goes well, and no more tubes are needed.

Sorry about the week from heII, slow down, you will only add to the cogfog the stress and the mistakes, we all heard this but need to learn on our own, PACE, you must find a pace you can be comfortable with and one that wont knock the MSBS into high gear. trust me this is the pot calling the kettle black I go to hospitals a lot:Bang-Head:

if you didn't keep a journal start doing so from facts to I hate ms can be written in journals, it will help organize your thoughts, which will help clear your head which may save you 30 miles of driving or arriving at meeting and the meeting actually being there,

you will do fine, the sarcasm :D in your post says that much, "Then I twist my good ankle because apparently I forgot how to walk. " lol do what you can to find humor in life, its one of the best meds that and

this is a very over whelming time for you. Slow it down, it will help you. you have a lot on your plate right now, more mentally then physically I would wager. Try to take it easy, try not over doing it, and try not stressing too much,

one day at a time, and keep on truckin:hug:

Wow, you did have a bad week!

I agree with WG5K, a journal will help immensely. I wish I had kept one from the beginning. However, I've got one going back about ten years. It's my complete medical journal.

I write down each thing I want and need to cover at my next doctor's visit. Every time my meds change, I make a new meds list. After the visit, I write down any med changes, tests run (with results), instructions given, etc.

I also include date and results of MRI's, mammo's, etc.

I hope this week is a whole lot better than the last for you. :)

Wow, girl you are having a bad week!

I have to agree once more with Frank, you need a journal! I love mine, I write in it every day and some times more than once when the day is bad!
