Crock Pot Recipes

Anybody have any good crock pot recipes they would like to share? It's getting to be that time of year. Thanks

Here's a post that Twink shared a while back. I've gotten several really good recipes off this website! :)

I like to make up my own...

Last week we did chicken enchilada casserole:

Pile into the crockpot:

One - two pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders
two cans of cream soup (we like chicken)
two cans of green enchilada sauce
1-2 cans of diced green chiles

cook 8-10 hours on low or 5-6 hours on high

Shred the chicken
Add torn up white corn tortillas - until not soupy anymore.
Add shredded cheese and sour cream
Stir and let it sit for another 30 minutes or so.
Serve with shredded lettuce, diced tomatos.

The whole family gobbled this up! :Starvin:

I cooked this one for dinner night before last, and it was really yummy.

BURGUNDY BEEF STROGANOFF

2 lbs. steak, cut in strips (I used Blade, but you could use any cut)
1 sweet onion
1 lb. mushrooms
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. tomato paste
3/4 cup red wine
1 cup sour cream
1 lb. wide egg noodles
Butter

Saute onions and mushroom in butter. Remove the vegetables. Add steak and brown. Sprinkle meat with flour. Combine wine with tomato paste. Add to meat. Add vegetables. Mix through. Transfer mixture to slow cooker/ crock pot. Cook until meat tender. Just before serving, add sour cream. Heat through. Be sure not to bring to a boil after adding the sour cream. Serve over noodles. Yields 6-8 servings.

Enjoy!

I found this site-
http://www.familycrockpotrecipes.com/

I like that when you click on the recipe it goes to a nice easy on the eyes recipe page - just like the older recipe books.
no fancy formatting or fonts, just a plain simple recipe.
