Yay! The neuro called me back!
 

Called the neuro back today because of the burning leg thing, and he just called me back, and he's going to give me a Rx for Neurontin without even having to see me. (he just saw me two weeks ago for a regular visit and I had told him then that my legs felt weird, but were not burning yet then)

I hope I dont have any weird reactions to the neurontin. He said it was 1 pill three times a day. But that if I wanted to, I could start out with one pill at bedtime and see if that helps. (when he prescribed Baclofen to me, I never did take it full strength)

If the neurontin doesnt work, I might just borrow my mom's TENS Unit and see if that does anything for me.

Good luck with the med. It helped Jim really well. The only major side effect he had was weight gain and swollen feet.

I took some Neurontin last night. Didnt really expect it to work because I know you have to build up a level in your system, but I think it did help some.

The burning didnt go away, but it did lessen to a tolerable level. I just woke up a few seconds ago and I can feel the tingle building, but I'm not trying to crawl out of my skin yet.

At least it feels like it helped some.

I'm wondering if the neurontin is responsible for the extremely detailed dream that I had about a job I did in the early to mid-90s. Too bad I cant get paid real money for "working" in that dream. It was really detailed.

Drugs do weird things. I was with my current boyfriend in a dream, and we walked into a room together, smack into the path of my first boyfriend, who I have not seen in 12 years. The whole scene was very vivid and I woke up wondering what the heck that was all about.
