Help, failed SC

Please can anyone help? Last night, after much persuasion, I finally went for a SCS trial. Unfortunately the epidural space in my dorsal and cervical areas were very small with little fluid and fat. it wa so narrow it pulled on the nerves in the dorsal area. This meant it was really hard (and painful) to get the wire in and when stimulation was applied it was a disaster - at0.7 (one tenth normal power) I had unpleasant and severe reactions all the way to my feet. We were trying for right shoulder and hand. Even moving the wire was generating 'electric shocks'

My doctor (an expert in the area) now says nothing can be done except deep brain stimulation. Please can anyone advise on alternatives?
