Amie is here!!!!!!

and we are home snice yesterday. She was born 11/12/08 at 12:18 pm 9 lbs 13 oz 22.2" long. I went in at 6:45 am on the 12th to be induced they got me all set up with the pit and I was going to hold off on getting the epi untill I really needed it because we afrade that I would not progress. I got checked at 10am and I was still 3cm but I was 100% effaced. I started with hard labor, The doctors came bak at 12pm to check me and I was 4-5 with a buldging sack. They broke that and I went right to 9cm. They told ud that they would not leave the floor. They did not even get half way down the hall when I told the nurse that I had to push. 16 min later Amie was here. There was no time for pain meds. Boy I have much more respect for women who go without pain meds more then once.
hereis the hospital pic. When we get the film back I will post them:hug:

 Sue, she's gorgeous!! She looks like a 3 month old (and probably felt like one, too!). Honestly, she doesn't have that "newborn" look at all.

I'm so happy for you! How exciting! What do your kids think of her? I know they were anxious for her to get here.

Thanks for letting us know ya'll are all okay. You take it easy and accept all the help that's offered to you.

Looking forward to more pictures soon!!

Wow! I have the utmost respect for you. My biggest baby was 8 lb 3 oz and I pushed for hours. I cannot imagine 9 lb 13 oz with no drugs. What a big baby.

She is absolutely beautiful. Congratulations to you and your whole family. What a blessing!

I'm going to go look at the baby pictures of my 16 year olds. I had drugs, but always say I had a 10-pounder. DD was 6pounds, 2 ounces, DS 4 pounds 2 ounces (she was taking his food in the womb). He's bigger than her now.

Babies are great!!!! Congratulations!!!

Awwww...Baaaaaaybeeeee!:)

She is beautiful, Sue. I can't wait to see the other pics. Glad to hear that you came through with flying colors!

As one of those big babies ( imagine that?) I want to thank all moms who give birth to us naturally! My mom did it and I was 2 lbs larger than the previous baby and 6 lbs larger than the first! Bless her heart, she had two more after me and they were also 2 or more lbs smaller.

She must have just loved me more!:D
