Vanity Plates -- What do they say about the Driver?

I've had a few comments on my license plate/tag which reads: BN2SHOP.

Women understand immediately that it means "Born to Shop." ;)

Men think it means "Been to [the] Shop" (shop as in fix-it-shop). They just don't get it.

So last night I found myself following a muddy pick-up truck whose license plate said, "BNHUNTN." I'm not single, but I knew immediately he wasn't my type.

Just wondering if anyone else owns, or has seen, interesting plates in your travels.

OR

What creative plate would you create for yourself or another board member?

It seems as though everybody and his dog has vanity plates these days. Every time we go grocery shopping, we scope out the parking lot and try to figure them out.

One I liked a few years ago was somebody had a Vista van/wagon with the plate HASTALA.

B2Y...huh:confused::confused::confused:

I personally wouldn't use vanity plates, simple 'cause I'm too vain to let anyone know anything about myself:rolleyes:

I've read so many interesting plates... ALL R 1...well, actually, that's the only one I can recall...but I KNOW I've seen interesting plates...at least I think I have...

Psssst, Debbie, you gotta pair the plate with the name of the van. :)

There are some really good ones in the Chicago suburbs. There was one a long time ago in my home town that said 2NDWIFE .

It was the young wife of an elderly furniture store owner in town. I always thought it should have said LSTWIFE or BSTWIFE. :D

this is before I was dx'd and had $$ ... but, mine is - and even had a cop stop me to ask what it stood for!

LTHS4ME .... Lighthouse for Me ...

when I explained to the cop that I have plans to build a lighthouse ... he only gave me a warning ... something about my car windows ...

I thought of getting a vanity plate but changed my mind when I had a second thought.

The plate would be too easy to remember if my car was naughty.
