Georgia GTG!!!!!
 

Hey there all you Gawga NT members......we're gonna have us a shindig!!

Twinkletoes (Rochelle) is going to be coming to Georgia with her DH in December and we'd like to plan a GTG.

We'd like to meet for lunch on Wednesday, December 3rd. She will be staying in Alpharetta but we talked about it and think Duluth is a more centralized location to meet and easily accessible to I-85 from both the north and the south.

How does The Olive Garden on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth sound to everyone? Maybe meet there about 11:30 AM so we can beat the lunch crowd and get a good table. They have unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks for a pretty reasonable price plus you can still order off the menu if you want something else. Feel free to offer other suggestions if this doesn't work for you.

I hope there will be lots of NTers who can make it.....I want to meet everybody!!

Momma said she'll be in Tennessee, but wants to make the trip back to GA for the GTG.

I've PM'ed and emailed everyone I could think of that might want to come in case they didn't see the invite.

Kelly - I so wish I could have done it. It's just too close to Christmas and although the tickets were inexpensive (around $200) I thought better of it because of the holidays. Of course, I'd also have the expense of hotels and meals.

Twink - I was going to call you and let you know as well as just to chat. I did talk to Bird not too long ago and I'm sure I let her know as well.

Aww, Tricia, I was so looking forward to meeting you. :( Maybe over the summer sometime....after the gas prices hold low for a while....you can plan a getaway. But, I totally understand your reasons. I have to watch every cent that leaves my hand. We'll be thinking of you.....hey, maybe you can call us while we're there and join in "virtually"!! :)
