Thats a beautiful picture of the beauty of the fall. For the first time in several years,it looked like that around here a week ago. Thank you for posting that picture.

Did you have that bad weather that we had last night? We had a tornado watch issued around here.

Is your dogs name Hooper,or Cooper. I thought that it was Hooper, but I saw Cooper on a couple of posts last night.

I hope that you had a happy birthday. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I'm glad you liked it Vicky. As soon as you emailed me I knew I had the perfect picture.

Yes Friend the colors were awesome this year. I wish I could have taken pictures when I went on my road trip Friday. I brought my camera for that reason but was afraid to waste time. When I got home I realized I hadn't even eaten. No wonder I had such a headache. :o

We did have tornado watches here too last night but thankfully we didn't get any. We did get terrible t-storms and now the cold weather has settled in. We might even get a little snow this week. I'm going to the Big Apple on Thursday with our church to see the Christmas Show at Rockefeller Center, shop and visit St. Patrick's Cathederal. I wish it would snow that day, just a little. There's nothing like being in New York City around the holidays with snow falling and skaters skating. My mom and I went every year with our church to see this. I know she'll be there Thursday too.

We had lightning with those downpours. I heard some rumbling late the other night. I thought is that a thunderstorm this time of the year? Sure enough it was. I googled NOAA radar to see what was going on. There was a enormous Low pressure system spiraling around the upper east coast area, and inland toward the Great Lakes.

I hope that you have a good time in New York. Oh that would be nice to see a snowy Christmas.

We are suppose to have snow flurries on Monday night. We'll see. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Thanks for the beautiful picture. All of our trees are leaveless now. But 2 of my trees have beautiful berries on them...one has golden berries, the other red.

I'm so excited about going to NY. I remember like it was yesterday the last time I went with my mom to NY. It started to snow and she yelled "BJ it's snowing". I said yes it's a winter wonderland Mom, nothing like being in the Big Apple around the holidays. And just like that she started to skip and sing "Tip Toe Through the Tulips". Where she got that from I'll never know. But that was my mom and that's why I love her and miss her so much. :grouphug:

I'm so happy, and excited that you are excited about the New York trip!!!!!

That song "Tip Toe Through the Tulips", was a old song that Tiny Tim (a unusual comedian from the 70's) sang on the Johnny Carson show. Then the song became popular.

I guess your dear mother started tip toeing through the snow in excitement, and happyness!!!!!

I hope that it snows for you up there!!! BF:hug::hug::hug:
