Still in New Jersey Arghhhhhhhhh
We are still in N.J. They delayed the closing again. This State is getting
unbelievable for things they keep looking for from the buyer. Since this problem with the mortgage crisis they are checking and rechecking and re-re-re checking. Everytime a problem is solved they find something else. As of right now I went to the Lawyers today and signed the papers, so that they can have the closing on Mon. or Tues when the bank gives the time. I can't hang around much longer. All of the house contents are on their way to Kentucky and I am set to have my closing there Dec. 1st. So I won't be here for the actual closing the lawyer is taking care of all of it. I just pray that nothing else comes up. I had a major melt down the other day. Taking more of my anxiety meds. and pain meds. Like I have said "ONLY ME" will something crazy happen. Keeps my life very interesting. We are planning to leave 2 am Tues. morn.:OuttaHere::OuttaHere: Jappy  |
Joyce you have Debs and my prayers that dec 2nd is a very very good day, sorry about yet another delay, have a nice turkey day in your new home:hug:

Joyce, I feel for you!
I took out a home equity loan to do some work on my house once. It took SIX MONTHS to close on that loan. They found more stuff that I had to investigate and search for and fix than I ever could have thought possible. There was an old mortgage loan from a private party to my stepfather from 1980 with NO paperwork on it. There was no address. There was no way for me to follow up on it. All the parties who could be identified were deceased. We got that straightened out and then they started on my driveway/road...I had to get every one of my neighbors to sign and attach a rider to their deeds stating that the road would be kept in a passable condition. (these folks ALL live out of state, good thing they like me!) Then they started on the roof on the garage having a tarp on it (so it wouldn't leak before the money came through to fix it???) and the construction debris from fixing the house...GRRRR I hope this all gets fixed soon and you can enjoy your new home. You will look back and laugh someday... |
Awwww, Joyce, i understand the anxiety thingy. I've been having that, myself, this week, with my 'puter problems.. :deadhorsebeat: :Crazy 2: :Help:
Good Roads My Friend.. |
Wishing all goes well!
Hey Dec 1...that will be a great day! |
Jappy sent me a Christmas card and said she has moved into her new home in Kentucky!
She says she's "going crazy" because she doesn't have internet service yet, but will check in when she does. (I was supposed to post this a couple of weeks ago, but just rediscovered her card). :o Sorry, Jappy! |
Tell Jappy that my daughter lives there. If she needs a church home I can recomend a nice one. It is a beautiful city to live in.
