cdr?

i was approved for ssdi aug 2003 dating back to dec 2000. i will be 63 in feb 2007,i have never had a cdr and my notice of approval nor my award letter states when i could expect to have one, in the alj's letter he states i could not be expected to return to work, based upon residual funictional capacity and vocational adjustment.

i have had fusion to lower back,asthma,osteoporosis.arthritis.duptyrens contractures of both hands.gerds, chronic and acute sciatic pain with weakness and diminished feelings in left lower leg and all the way under the foot, have had a stress fracture of pelvis that has not healed in 3 years, not to mention the mental stress that goes along with being disabled. i had worked since i was 14 years of age

Do you think i will have a cdr,or what can i expect? i would have had to work until i was 66 to receive full benefits.

Hard to answer

lady bug, The answer would be more of a guess. PErhaps if you call anonymously to ask thee ssa could tell you. SOme are three year reviews, some are 7 if I remember. Now, if the Judge wrote taht and wioth your age at 63, perhaps you will not receive a CDR.

CDR are not that threatening for ongoing disabilities. The trail of doctors appointments, treatment for pain and innability to work are on your side in a review.

I do work part time, but used my ticket to work which gives me a trial work period. I only work a few hours a week, but did not get the CDR I expected this year, and a recent notice from SSA did say that I have had no significant gainful employment and no medical improvment.

I would not get so anxious about a CDR unless you have improved by your medical records.

Also, if you had new problems, such as a treatment for heart related issue, depression etc, update that with the CDR if you do receive one.

My daughter has had two CDR's so far. After the paperwork was sent back we heard nothing each time. But, still gets the adrenalyn going when it comes in the mail.
