............."Thankful"............
Thought I would take some time out to say thank you for all my friends here and how you help cure my blues so many times i have searched my life for my friends a search for me that just never seem to end I married a person who chased away may pals but I was determined to make it work, she was my gal then came the day i divorced and got sole custody of my kids the few friends I had left ran away, disappeared or just hid when i remarried Deborah my wife I found we both were alone for such an outgoing person I had no idea where my friends had gone then came a site we all enjoyed till they chased us away then a dear friend chased me down and had something to say she told me to get myself over to Neuro Talk, and I cant explain how great it was to see people I had known through so much strain slowly I found that my old friends were just that old as I have since learned my new friends were so bold strong determined and scared about our illness we shared strong determined loving friends who truly cared I have not known this kind of love from so many as I do here a love so strong it made my heart open up and share giving what i could to make others smile during their day receiving enough love and support what can I say I am so thankful for the friends I have, and for Deb my wife thankful for the love I have for my NT family who are a big part of my life to my friends at NT I love you as my family, thank you for allowing me to experience this love Happy Thanksgiving |

I found out all about Methyl B-12 from the people on these boards. Best gift I ever received. Alan and I are still alive and kicking. AND TODAY I BAKED MY FIRST PUMPKIN PIE. Sugar free, fat free and low sodium. Alan gobbled it up. So Happy Thanksgiving to all of you |
Mel is this one of the diabetic recipes? the pumpkin pie?, glad it turned out well and happy thanksgiving everyone

I didn't add salt, but I used cinnamon, ginger and a half teaspoon of vanilla. You should have seen my husband dive into this pie last night. I just put a dollop of cool whip light on it. I mean, it's once a year. I live on sprouts and healthy stuff all year round. But if you think I'm not going to have a slice of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving day, well forget it. So I just tweaked the recipe and VOILA!!! A slice of heaven. Oh, I am now going to do something else I have never done. I am going to Bake an Apple. Seems simple enough. We shall see. So hope you are eating turkey and cranberries. Me?? I hope I never see another piece of poultry again. I think, after the holidays, I'm going vegetarian for a while. I can do it because I already take B-12 every day and all the other stuff I take has calcium and vitamins in it. And sprouts are full of protein too. So I'll just add a bit of tofu to my diet. You can make tofu a hundred different ways. I happen to like the stuff. None of my friends will go near it. lol |
