weakness down one side?

It's 8 months since my concussion now. It was relatively mild with no loss of consciousness but the sequellea were not; acute anxiety, depersonalisation etc.

Anyway I've noticed that when I get low I start to drag my right side slightly. I don't feel like I've lost coordination in it but my right arm stops swinging and my left leg seems to be playing more part in walking (this is when I feel slow and sluggish and depressed as I often get). What's really worrying me is that when I look and feel my body my right side seems smaller than my left. Anyone else experienced this? I was given a through neurological assesment after my injury and although my reactions were stronger down my left side, they said I was fine.

I'm right handed btw.

HI Benjamin,

my chiropractor recently told me that one side of mine is slightly weaker to the other side. I wasn't aware of it. I have lost a lot of my self regulatory feelings - like if I am getting hot/cold tired etc. She said that the weakness would be effecting my balance which is not the greatest. When I walk I often veer off to one side and also have trouble co-ordinating movements. My personal trainer was showing me a new exercise when in a crouch position - had to lift one hand and the opposite leg off the floor - couldn't do it until he actually touched the hand and the leg - was weird. I know some people would have difficulty anyway but I was always able to do things like that pre accident.

The chiropractor seems to think that she can help with the balance/weakness issue by getting things back where they should be - hopefully and then with the help at the gym I should get stronger.
