I'd Like To Introduce Myself
[COLOR="Sienna"]Hello All. My name is Gale Sue and I just kind of wandered into this site looking for an answer to a hopefully small problem.
I'm glad I bumped into your group, because I, we,may be needing it and you, but I hope not:rolleyes:/COLOR] My 29 year old daughter, Tara Lynn, was diangnosed with stage IV lung cancer: non-small cell adenocarcinoma 13 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days ago. At this stage in her healing (thank God), she has 5 brain tumors, 3 of which were irradiated--full brain. Tara Lynn will undergo stereotactic radiosurgery to DESTROY the little ____ers!!:o next week. One such unwelcome invader is in her right frontal lobe. Todays Problem: Tara Lynn's right eye has been steadily spasming for about 34 hours now. Pain started behind the right eye about 8 hours ago. That tumor is hopefully dead, but we don't know for sure. Could this be the problem? Could it (theoretically) have grown and is pressing on her optic nerve? Her eye has not stopped spasming at all. It has been constant (no pauses at all--like her heartbeat) which makes me think that it could be being caused by something other than stress. I would like to be able to give her something to ease her latest fight with panic. Anyone hear of something like this?Thank you for taking some of your time, and giving it to me. Tara Lynn's mother, Gale Sue. He will |
