Question.

Sorry to be a bother but how do I find the page again where people leave messages and where I can reply to them all.

Not Private Messaging... the other feature.

 I'll get the hang of this yet.

EDITED to ADD...

I was going to pm Curious but figured I'd let her rest her hand.

I bet Curious answers me though!!!

click on your name at the top..where it says Welcome Lara.

Good grief. Of course.

Thankyou Curious!

p.s. I must say that I'm VERY impressed with the new features on this site.
It's amazing. Thankyou all for doing such a great job.

did you find all the different page themes yet:p

if not
bottom left corner of the page you will find the drop down menu:hug:

yes, Lara.

It is very nice here, in all ways! ;)

I still don't know some of the bells/whistles myself! :o

I am using the Spring pages --they have a larger reply box so it is easier to see what you are typing.
The colors are easier on the old eyeballs too!

BTW... Lara...

You can SAVE the skin you choose and it will auto load when you sign in. But if you come here and only look around then it defaults back to the blue, and you have to manually change it.

Also if you make LONG posts...there is an auto sign out that may catch you unawares. I have found that once you re-sign in you can hit back twice or 3 times (I forget which), and get your post box back. That is if you don't hit a key in between there.
You can also open a new window, log in there and go back to your first screen and hit back once before the log in prompt and your post should still be there.

What I do now when I make a long post is do some, hit submit and then go back in edit function and add to it.
So between those two tricks, I don't lose my efforts anymore.;)

re the time out when making long posts.....I posted on PD forum yesterday on this....the best way to avoid that is to check the "remember me" box when logging in to NT....that way you wont get logged out when the default time out happens :)

if you set you page theme from the main NT index page
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/index.php it should save. you can also save it in your User CP

I use the Spring theme too.........real easy on these ole eyes and I find it really tranquil:p

how easy is that? So much for my little clever ideas! LOLOL
My son told me a long time ago to never check the little boxes that say remember me...I guess this one is different from remember my password? :thud:

Thanks, Chemar!

mrsd, just be sure to use the Log Out button when you leave nt. you will have to log back in with your password when you come back. logging out clears the cookies. (mods and admin eat them :p)

Thanks, Curious...

I always log out. I am so internet paranoid it is pathetic.:o

While I was making that thread on Vitamin yesterday, one of the searches I was doing, set off my Avast alarm. I was still in Google...not even clicking on anything! (worm alert).

I shut everything down, and then did a full scan...nothing found.
Don't understand that at all, but Avast tends to have false positives so I am thinking that was a false one. They are very strict. Rather have a false positive than an invader slipping thru.
