Bannet very sick
 

Beth just called me and she is on her way to the hospital.

She has been not feeling well for awhile and then Friday she went to doctor because she had a terrible cold, flu, whatever. When they took her temp it was 103.8. Doctor gave her antibiotics and told her to go home and stay in bed.

I talked with her earlier today because her father has developed problems with his only existing kidney, he lost the other one to cancer. She was wondering if people with MS could donate a kidney. She sounded terrible and said she hadn't been out of her bedroom since Friday.

Then when she called a few minutes ago she had started vomiting blood and of course her doctor wanted her to go to emergency ASAP. She is really scared (who wouldn't be) and asked for my prayers.

So, now I am asking for your prayers for her.

As soon as I know more I will let you know.

WOW, that is a HIGH temp!! :eek: I hope they get it under control very quickly. :eek:

PwMS aren't allowed to donate blood or organs in Canada. I don't know if the rules are the same in the US. :confused:
