UGH -- the smell of cleaning products when I just wake up
Hi,
I just woke up -- too early because I have a dentist appointment. Hubby did a little cleaning in the bathroom while I was sleeping but the cleaning products he used are irritating and making me cough. I buy organic because they are less noixous then the regular kind. But what ever he used is bad enough. I think perhaps he uses too much (more is better!). I can't really tell him he cleaned wrong because that would not be nice and I want to encourage him to clean next time too. Maybe I can mention it again later and try to appeal to his need to save money -- a little goes a long way with this stuff. I did open a window and tell him to use a little less next time. Mari |
He told me that he drove to the store this morning to buy products. He bought THREE different kinds  and then used them with a heavy hand.
(Everything is still messy -- but I would not tell him that. I told him he did a great job -- but to try to save money and use a little bit of the products next time. He said ok.) Now I have to go to a new dentist and I'm feeling sleepy and nauseated. Sorry to whine and vent. It helps. Mari |
Hi Mari
You probably know this. Make sure bleach is not mixed with ammonia. The combination can form a toxic gas. I accidentally did this a long time ago.
Lysol concentrate can cause nose bleeds,so that stuff needs to be diluted. I worked in a supermarket,so I'm familiar with cleaning procedures. Bleach needs to be heavily diluted. I'm just trying to help. You probably know all of these things. BF:hug::hug: |
These are all old news... but baking soda makes a great cleaner with hot water. Vinegar can substitute where you would use ammonia... Newspaper works great for cleaning glass and chrome...
