hints of MS on MRI years before symptoms
Interesting. But what about people who have symptoms but no evidence on their MRI's?

I ask because my cousin gets them and has eye problems when in a migraine. Doc says its not MS but it terrifies me and wish they would do a freaking MRI. P.S. I think you are sensible and brave to have decided to be proactive with treatment especially since you have a family history. |
Questions for your thoughts
recently dx with Narcolepsy...received phone call yesterday to tell me that I have changes in the "white brain matter" and we will talk more on my next visit. Any ideas about this???? Only symptoms recently are..memory changes, tingling in tongue and headaches. I am 55 and I thought this age was much too old for MS diagnosis. I have had migraines for the past 30 years, are they related to MS?

I was diagnosed as having migraine however at age 6 (MS diagnosed at 31). The Trigeminal Neuralgia was diagnosed 1 year prior to the MS. 55 is not too old to be diagnosed with MS. It's not as common, but it's not unheard of either. I do hope that you don't find out it's MS. |
