anyone know what this means____ there is dehydration, anterior bulge &central subligamentous posterior herniation of the L4/5 intervertebral disc impinging upon the thecal sac causing moderate stenosis of the spinal canal. there is mild stenosis of the bilateral L4/5 neural foramina.

2. there is deydration & posterior bulge of the L5/s1 intervertebral disc with a superimposed small right paracentral posterior herniation impinging upon the spinal canal.
any info would be a great help. thank you A

Hi~

I don't know what all this means but I have had a lot of trouble with spinal stenosis. It is painful as a rule. I also have dehydration all down my lunbar and it is called (DDD) or disc degeneration diease. I have read that most people have some form of it as they grow older, by this I mean after 35 or so. Not so old, as I see things! Lets see if you can check this link out and have it explain some of this.

Thanks Fancy for the link...lots of great info. I do appreciate as well.

If your having problems with reading the xray report I would take it to your doc and have him explain it word by word. I did that with mine.
