Hello!

 I'm new here, well new to the whole forum stuff!! Anyway I suffer chronic pain because of my CRPS II. I've had four surgeries in the past year and a half on my left elbow, due to a cyst. After the last sugery I could tell something wasnt right. By the time we were able to open up my elbow a year later they found my radial nerve had been pinched off by scar tissue and was severly damaged. Ever since then I have suffered the constant burning, ant eating, numbing, and then some pain! Its extreamly tiring, and has triggered other health issues for me. Everyday is the same as the last, the only thing keeping me going is my family! They have been super great support for me, especially my love Steve. Anyway I wondered is there anyone else out there thes suffers chroic pain due to the RPS? Let me know what your experiences are please! Thanx Weezie.

:grouphug: Welcome to Neuro Talk! I have had many different pain conditions, so I know what you mean by one day seeming to be the same as the one before and the one after. Especially if all you are doing is just keeping your head above a sea of pain. It is wonderful, though, that your family is supportive, and I am glad you reached out here to get support and ideas.

P.S. Do you have any family members with fur?

Hello and Welcome to NT ... I also have CRPS!

Hello and Welcome to the forum, Weezie - you will meet many great people here who I am sure will be more than happy to help you in anyway they possibly can!!

I am so sorry to hear that you suffer from CRPS also:hug:. I have CRPS/RSD in my left leg and right arm - I developed it when I was 12 years old after I fell down some stairs and sprained my left ankle and am now 13.

If you ever need anyone to talk to, please let me know. I am more than happy to help you if I can and I know how scary and frustrating it can be at times dealing with such an awful condition!

I see Frank has given you the link to the RSD forum - you will meet many great people there and I look forward to seeing you there real soon!!!

Take care and i'm sending you many pain-free hugs!
Alison
