I Couldn’t Believe

When I woke,
To a pain free day,
I couldn’t believe,
It had been taken away.

When I woke,
To a fog free head,
I couldn’t believe,
That my confusion was dead.

When I woke,
To a pain free day,
I couldn’t believe,
I finally had a say.

When I woke,
To a fear free soul,
I couldn’t believe,
I could now take back control.

When I woke,
To an ache free heart,
I couldn’t believe,
I’d been given a new start...
